something smells like fraud

So those Exit polls, funny that they were supposed to be wrong in one direction only.

Ohio will be recounted.

I think we do this election thing again. With paper ballots: make a cross in a circle with a pen
It works. Elsewhere.

"The USA lost the Vietnam war"

it is a fact. American troops left the country and the opposing force rules it since then.

But it might be that this simple sentence has kicked in a process of "explainations" in your head. It might be, that you feel the urge to comment on this. That you would like to explain to your self and to the world that it was not so.

Why is it, that you can not face simple realities?

Could it be, that mental knee jerk reactions like those are so predictable that they get triggered to get your vote?

Rumsfeld is an idiot

this link contains:

There is another thing that’s not changed: we still face determined adversaries, as we’ve seen in Iraq and Afghanistan, the dead-enders are still with us, those remnants of the defeated regimes who’ll go on fighting long after their cause is lost. There are some today who are surprised that there are still pockets of resistance in Iraq, and they suggest that this represents some sort of failure on the part of the Coalition. But this is not the case. Indeed I suspect that some of you in this hall today, especially those who served in Germany during World War II or in the period immediately after the war were not surprised that some Ba’athists have kept on fighting. You will recall that some dead-enders fought on during and after the defeat of the Nazi regime in Germany.

Why don't you read what Rumsfeld said 8/25/03 and compare it to what happened since then in Iraq.

He has no clue.

Nor has this administration.

Iraq is gonna get worse. But that's what you wanted when you voted for those people.

stupid? yeah, me and million others

this link shows state by state vote results

against the IQ.

I know I am stupid. I have to live with me, that's why I know.

But many others are pretty stupid too.
Interesting how those voted.

No wonder Kerry lost. He tried to make arguments.

Bush & Co just threw as much dirt as possible.

I think that dividing the USA in 2 countries would be an excellent idea.
Those Red states just leave them on their own. And charge them for every Terrabyte
that they consume out of the blue states. No matter what kind of content you are talking
about it does not come out of Wyoming if it requires thinking .

paging: "compassionate conservatism"

Interesting is also that Bush had no further need to mention something like "compassionate conservatism" any more. He got reelected anyway. He doesn't even need to pretend any more.

"Fear" worked. And Karl Rove understands the american soul better than I had ever imagined.

money: running out of it

only hours
after being back in office Bush asks for more money.

And it wont be the last time.

BTW: It does not grow on trees. The money that Bush spends will have to be paid back by your kids.
By then that shiny new Nissan truck you started to pay of from his Tax Break will be home to the school teacher that you had to sell it to, after you could not afford those horrendous gas prices anymore.

Bush got his second term

I was wrong earlier. Looked all very nice. But apparently exit
polls mean nothing.

Bush goes into his second term.

The NeoCon's will sink in their heels.
The will suck more of your money.
Social Security will be next.

They will make billions, like they did before.

The world will start to hate America even more:
2000 looked like an accident while nobody was paying attention
Gore became the candidate and Bush slipped into the white house.
Now the people have said 'please four more years of this'

Unbelievable. But that's how it is.

Don't complain when your kids have to pay off the debt that GWB did mount up.
Don't complain when you pay more and more for energy without looking for alternatives.
Remember: Bush is in the Oil Business
Don't complain when every scandal and reveal fraud will be prompted with a raise in the terror alert.

Don't complain if you should read 1984 and some (I said SOME) sounds awfully familiar.

You wanted it like that.

You gave the USA away. It was a great idea.
You broke it, and it will take 20 years to fix it.

The NeoCons have four more years.

And the DNC is toast. Since 2000 worked so 'well' the same thing is attempted now again.
Why not freaking tell people how it is: People voted for Bush. Either that or make a freaking claim
that Diebold did it for them.

The worst possible President, and he gets reelected. Amazing.

and the dollar ...

the dollar is moving i
in anticipation of a Kerry win. Wrong direction. But that is besides the point right now.

The point is: this election is lost for George W Bush. And it is so by at least 3% in the popular vote.
Which is a conservative (sic!) estimate.

I didn't tell anybody: But those 50/50 polls were wrong. They left people out that had no landlines, or simply didn't answer them. In 4 years many things can change. But the pollster recipies did not change that much.
They can only tweak things so far. So, yes it was close, but never as close as the polls would did indicate it.

four more hours!

Discharge story and its timing

1 day before the election this story breaks.
why one day?

It would have had more impact if it would have been a week .

The only reason why this one 'breaks' now is that its evidence is so thin that it can survive only a few days.

Dan Rather should have done it like that.

In 2 days nobody will care about this story either way.

And the GOP knows this. I am just disapointed that this is really all they had.

Rove isn't that good after all.
